That’s our purpose.
As leaders in specialist professional recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing, we have a big impact on the prosperity of people and organisations. That’s why we have a strong purpose which underlies everything we do: powering people and organisations to fulfil their unique potential.
Our purpose goes beyond doing our ‘job’. It’s the positive impact we have on our people, candidates, clients and the communities where we operate. It’s the ‘why’ behind what we do.
What our purpose means in practice
We work together to find the best professionals for our clients, so they can reap the benefits of employees who fit their culture and values. We help our clients to build teams who consistently deliver value and unlock opportunities for them, and our approach is not confined by international borders. Take, for example, our international candidate management team and ‘Return Home’ campaigns - they find the best returning talent with international experience for our clients.
We’re also always looking for ways to offer more and our Innovation team does just that - they trial the latest recruitment technologies and then roll the industry-leading ones out to our clients.
We deepen our understanding of candidates and build long-term relationships, helping them make the right choices to build fulfilling careers; all while helping them maximise their earnings, build their sense of personal worth, and be happier. We regularly run candidate satisfaction surveys and employ tools to better understand their motivations.
We also provide high quality, expert advice, and use new technology and tools to share jobs and career advice, and complement this with online testing and training for candidates. We place the best interests of our candidates at the heart of everything we do. This is strengthened by our non-commission model, focusing on a team-based profit share instead of individual commission, which differentiates us from our competitors.
What we do matters. We listen to, value and respect everyone, and give responsibility to people early on. A career is so much more than just a job, it’s about finding meaning in what you do, and growing personally and professionally. For example, we launched Workplace by Facebook to improve communication and collaboration between colleagues in different offices, countries and continents. We also run annual Incentive Weekends and provide long-term career development – internationally and locally – on top of other learning and development training programmes and courses.
We’re good corporate citizens. We do business in a responsible and sustainable way that recognises diversity and inclusivity. We provide leadership, not only in what we think and do, but also in terms of the organisations and charities we support. One of the ways we’re powering people to fulfil their unique potential is by partnering with the Global Angels Foundation to impact an entire community in Tsavo, Kenya. Our people volunteer there each year helping to build classrooms, farm houses and shade netting projects, enabling the community to become self-sufficient.
